Liezel Kloppers-Pelser

My passion for understanding behaviour and seeing people develop their potential led me to study Industrial Psychology. After completing my Master’s Degree in this field (2013) and registering with the Health Professions Council of South Africa as an Industrial Psychologist (2014) I have worked across various of the fields within this profession, including OD, Change, Learning and Leadership development as well as Talent Management. I managed a small team for 4 years and also worked as a Senior Manager at Group-Level in the Learning and Development team of a large Corporate Organisation (+/- 30 000 employees) in the Financial Services Industry. As I reflect on my experiences over the past decade or so, I am still fascinated by how unique each of us are in terms of our motivations, preferences and definitions of success. We have all walked individual paths to where we find ourselves today, and the choices we make will influence what happens next. What interests me about coaching is the context it provides to empower individual growth. The coaching environment welcomes the Coachee to expand their thinking, where a more intentional approach can be formed that supports the clarification and achievement of personal or professional goals.
